Mikey and Tanya Carr-Hartley founded Tamimi in 2005 and have been working together for the last sixteen years building exotic lodges that offer a one-of-a-kind experience. In collaboration with the Tamimi team, they have created an outstanding portfolio that epitomises an elegant and stylish safari experience.

They have formed a company around the concept of an incomparable journey into the vast Kenyan wild, and to achieve this they have brought together a team of young, likeminded people who share the same passion. From the administrators at HQ, to the managers, guides, waiters and chefs in the various properties, the Tamimi team possesses a great mix of creativity, dedication and a deep understanding of the environment.
